Journeying to Zion - May 2008
When David became king over all of Israel, not only did he have the responsibility of shepherding God’s people, he also took upon himself the responsibility of establishing the dominion of God in the land. He seemed to have prophetic insight into God’s agenda and was determined to serve the divine purpose for his generation. No wonder why God called David a man after His heart, someone who would do everything heaven wanted him to do (1 Samuel 13:14; Acts 13:22).
